Spartan Wins
This week we had 15 Spartan Seniors recieve the MNPS Trailblazer Scholarship to TSU, a scholarship
that paired with the Hope Scholarship is a full tution scholarship! The TSU President and admissions team
visited Stratford to award these seniors!
Prom was April 11th
Saturday night was our annual prom and students and staff showed out! The theme this year was Dripping in Diamonds, and our Spartans sure did sparkle! Seniors JJ Jackson and Akire’ Dickerson were crowned the 2026 Prom King and Prom Queen!

Summer School & Promising Scholars
Stratford will be a Summer School AND Promising Scholars site. Promising Scholars is for rising 9-12 and is an enrichment program, whereas summer school is for students who need to recover credits they have failed. To learn more, visit the MNPS Summer Programs.

ANNUAL FAMILY ENGAGEMENT POLICY AND SCHOOL COMPACT MEETING
Please join us for our annual Family Engagement Policy and School Compact meeting this Wednesday, April 15 from 12:30 to 1:15 in the mighty Spartan auditorium. This meeting is to review/discuss the expectations of all Stratford stakeholders for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. We would love to have your input as we refine our school policies and stakeholder agreements to ensure we continue to make Stratford an incredible place for our children to learn and grow. Light

EOC exams start next Monday, April 20th
EOC exams have been pushed back a week due to the winter storm earlier this semester, and
will start April 20th. EOC Tested subjects are English I & II, US History, Biology, and Integrated Math I, II, & III,
Graduation is May 19 at Municipal Auditorium at 6 pm
