Academy of National Safety & Securities Technologies

Computer Programming and Criminal Justice Options

In the Academy of National Safety and Security Technologies, students have access to the latest technology in computer programming to develop mobile apps, webpages and computer games. With the same equipment and technology found in the most advanced facilities in the nation, including Pixar and DreamWorks, students learn the skills and qualifications needed to be at the cutting edge of industry innovation.

Students also can work hands-on in the field of criminal justice. Students learn how local, state and federal criminal justice systems operate.

Students participate in crime scene investigation, collect evidence, interview witnesses, document witness statements, investigate crimes and testify in our own courtroom. With the same equipment and technology found in modern-day law enforcement facilities, students learn the skills and qualifications needed to advance in the industry. Students in this pathway can earn early college credit through Nashville State Community College and take national certification exams.
